Nikos Varvadoukas
Nikos Varvardoukas is an experienced C-level executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience across Retail, Technology, FMCG, Services, Software SaaS and Regulated Industries. He has held senior leadership positions, including Vice President at Public Group, COO at Cosmos Sport, Global Growth Lead at Novibet, Commercial Director at Apivita and Regional Brand Manager at DIAGEO.
Throughout his career, he has built high-performing teams and delivered strong business results by leading functions across Marketing, Omnichannel Retail & eCommerce, Supply Chain and Customer Operations, driving customer-led transformation through strong brand strategy and operational excellence.
He has actively contributed to major growth and transformation journeys, including serving as Chief Omnichannel Officer at Cosmos Sport until its acquisition by JD Sports, the creation and exit of Gatoskilo to Pet City, as well as the merger of Public with MediaMarkt.
As an active member of the Public Corporate Venture Fund, he played a key role in investing in and supporting fast-growing companies such as Box Now, Klarna, iRepair, Douleutaras, Sleed and Bookvoice. At the same time, he serves as a Board Member and Investor in SaaS, Education/EdTech and Pharmacy scale-ups, while also acting as an M&A Advisor in transactions such as the acquisition of WeLoveSupermarket by MyMarket and as a consultant to organizations including Philip Morris and Coca-Cola Hellenic.
He holds a degree in Operational Research & Marketing from the Athens University of Economics and Business, an MBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Piraeus and has completed an Executive Course in Business Model Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Imperial College London.
